As an Analyst at Vantage Point Advisors, Inc., Trevor Carrithers conducts business valuation work utilizing a variety of valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow, guideline public company and transaction analyses, option-pricing methods, and equity allocation. Mr. Carrithers is involved in a wide variety of projects ranging from BEV/fair value measurement, debt and equity securities, share-based compensation valuations (under IRC 409a and ASC 718) to marital dissolutions, litigation support, financial reporting/tax compliance, and gift and estate planning.
Prior to joining Vantage Point Advisors in 2019, Mr. Carrithers interned at the district office of Representative Mike Doyle of Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District. His internship was sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute of Politics and funds provided by the Elsie Hillman Civic Forum Scholarship. Previous to his latest experience, Mr. Carrithers worked as a Financial Analyst for Highmark Health, where he helped in assessing the pricing, profitability, and investment decisions of the firm’s for-profit subsidiary, HM Health Solutions. Mr. Carrithers has previous valuation experience working as a Private Equity intern for GT Entrepreneurs, a start-up search fund housed in and sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University. His international experience includes studying and living in London, England, where he primarily focused on the politics and financial implications of Brexit and the greater future of European integration.
Mr. Carrithers graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Economics and Political Science.
